We The People
Our most treasured American freedoms are under attack
Close to 1,000 bills have been introduced that threaten our freedom and seek to undo 70 years of progress.
The rights we hold dear could be erased. This country never has seen such blatant abuse of power against virtually every group - people of color, immigrants, women, LGBTQ+ communities, Jewish people, and more.
The courts used to be instruments to right wrongs. Now they are the lead deniers. This is how dictatorships take hold. We are not for one party or another, but we must speak out against tyranny.
Thousands gather for Fort Lauderdale ‘We The People' march
Protesters braved the rain to have their voices heard on issues like civil rights, gun violence and other issues affecting the community.
“We The People March,” the creation of the AIDS Health Foundation and supported by some 70 liberal-leaning social and political organizations, drew an estimated 4,200 participants, a spokeswoman said.
Why We March
We won’t go back - Let’s march forward together.
In response to the hateful legislation spreading across the U.S. that seeks to criminalize immigrants, sexuality, gender expression, Blackness, homelessness, religious freedom, and the teaching of vital history, the We the People Coalition established itself, composed of advocates, mobilizers, and community leaders fighting for fundamental constitutional rights.
We The People are committed to freedom and justice and equity and personal liberty and doing what’s right to protect our rights.
